Minz (Oluwadamilola Adedolapo Aminu) renowned as the prince of Afro-Fusion, is an artiste from Lagos, Nigeria. Drawing from a diverse range of influences, Minz's music is inspired by the conscious protest songs of Fela Anikulapo Kuti and the futuristic sounds of Travis Scott.
He is also heavily influenced by RnB, with Bryson Tiller inspiring him to set up his own home studio at the age of 22. Minz bridges the gap between “ALTÉ” and the mainstream, resisting being boxed into a single category. He draws inspiration from his life experiences to fuel his creativity.
After securing a degree in international law and diplomaсу, he officially launched his independent label, NSE, and released his first single, "Talk," in 2016. Since then, Minz has delivered a series of sleeper hits and cult classics, including “234,” “BDMN,” “Lady," “Sokoto,” “Blessings,". His global hit “WO WO”" and its remix featuring Blaqbonez and BNXN further solidified his place in the music industry. Since 2024, Minz has been on an unstoppable hit streak, dominating the music scene with a string of chart topping releases. His impressive discography includes: "Shadow", "Wap" ft Afrobeats legend Davido, "Diallo" (feat. Tekno) and "Mo de ma", his last single before the release of his debut album, By Any Minz.
